When a client contacts me, I visit the site, take precise measurements, and create a drawing on my iPad. While we’re still there, I prepare a digital quote and send it to them via text.
If the client requires HOA approval, the drawing I create often works perfectly for that purpose, saving time and ensuring a smooth approval process.
Once the client approves the quote, they can easily pay the deposit online. The job is then scheduled immediately, ensuring a fast and efficient process.
I arrange for concrete delivery and prepare all the materials, which I usually deliver the day before the job starts, ensuring everything is ready for the next day.
Sometimes, additional sub-base gravel is needed. In these cases, I head to the quarry to pick up the gravel, ensuring the project is fully supplied.
On the day of the job, my team and I arrive between 7-8 AM to begin the work, ensuring a timely start and efficient workflow.
Once all materials are ready, we begin the dirt prep work and engineer the forms, making sure everything is level and aligned before pouring the concrete.
I usually pour the concrete just before noon, ensuring that the mix is fresh and ideal for the job.
The next phase is the longest part: waiting for the concrete to set and performing finishing work. On smaller jobs, we typically complete everything on the same day. However, I may return the next day for final cleanup and touch-ups.
